What is a Vortex?

     Vortexes according to American Heritage Dictionary are spiral motions of fluid,water,air,energy;a whirling mass., whirlwind. Something regarded as drawing into its center;all that surrounds it.In this case it would be energy or living matter.It is kind of like a black hole in space in context.It is a place where the commonplace and everyday facts are reversed.It is an area of naturally occurring visual and perceptual phenomena which can be captured on film.It can cause various phenomena like in the Oregon Vortex and Mystery House Objects there defy our known laws of gravity,like having a ball roll up hill instead of down,a broom standing straight up by itself. People standing on level ground appearing shorter or taller than each other when exchanging places.

     Vortexes can be doorways between universes parallel to our own,where everything is similar except one small point that might change everything.Take for example the Civil War,here(in our universe) it was finished over 142 years ago,but suppose there was an overlapping universe that happened to bump into ours where that same war is still being played out..it boggles the mind.....

     Parapsychologists are now beginning to look at ghostly phenomena in a new light because of this. "String Theory" in quantum Mechanics has proved this very phenomenon. Suppose we see what appears to us as a ghostly and ethereal soldier on a Gettysburg battlefield,now just suppose that it is really a parallel universe that has simply bumped into ours where the Civil War is still going on, and the two time frames have overlapped or bumped into one another momentarily? We can see them, but do they see us?.I had a friend that said that she found herself feeling faint in the Chollar mine tour off of E Street in Virginia City,Nevada and awakening just momentarily in the 18nth century Virginia City on C Street with wagons being pulled by horses when the city was a bustling,thriving metropolis of yesteryear. and people were dressed in period attire and greeted her most cordially,and just as suddenly She found herself back in this era within the Chollar Mine.Only a matter of a few seconds had elapsed in our era when she said that at least a period of an hour had elapsed there in that time period according to Saint Mary's chiming clock.

     Vortexes can have auras or colors.The one on the "Flats" near Virginia City Nevada appears to be black in color.It was told by Native American elders at Powwows that the Natives used it NOT to keep the "White Eyes" OUT, in the wild west era,but to keep them safely behind its spinning blackness.

     The one at Sedona,Arizona can appear to be gold or "healing" and people often report a feeling of well being emanating from it. People with various physical ailments have had miraculous healings from their illnesses when within its spinning whirlpool. I have heard of one being green or symbolizing herbal healing.
