St. Ann's academy
Are there Ghosts at St. Ann's Academy? Death and dying and things that go bump in the night - Learn about the rituals and traditions surrounding death at St. Ann's Academy, a former school and convent and now one of Victoria's oldest heritage buildings. Explore the renovated building and Hear stories about dead students, burial customs, exhumations of the Sisters, unexplained experiences, and speculation about ghosts and the urban myths that have evolved.

Maritime Museum of Canada 1889 located in the courthouse
The Maritime Museum of Canada, once the Provincial Court building, is built on the site of the original gallows. The bodies of the hanged men were buried beneath this building. Sightings of Sir Matthew Baillie Begbie, nicknamed the “Hanging Judge”, have been reported. His ghost is also seen at Ross Bay Cemetery where he is buried.

Old Morris Tobacconists Victoria 1897 lots of ghosts
Two blocks down the street is Old Morris Tobacconists where footsteps and cupboard doors opening and closing can be heard from the upstairs floor. It is believed to be the ghost of a former employee who met a sudden death in the upper floor workshop.

Bedford Regency Hotel
More information on this location will be listed soon.

Rogers Chocolate Shop Victoria
Rogers Chocolates, located in Old Town, is the oldest and famous chocolate shop in Victoria. The spirits of the founders, Charles and Leah Rogers, have been sighted.

OUR MAIN ATTRACTION IS GOING TO BE HATLEY CASTLE

Hatley Castle Victoria built in 1908
Hatley Castle was built in 1908 for James Dunsmuir who was the Premier and Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia and his wife Laura. In 1930, it was sold and the new owners began to see the ghosts. The spirit of James Jr who was killed in World War I is seen dressed in his military uniform and rising from the lake near the Japanese Gardens. When Hatley Castle was turned into a military academy, the ghost of Laura Dunsmuir started to appear. It is alleged that she would pull the cadets out of bed and there were sightings of tiny old woman. The ghost of Annabelle, a servant who jumped from a window after a love affair, can be seen near the window where she leapt to her death.
