As Ghost Hunters you want to be both scientific and logical. There are many tools used in this field. You dont have to have expensive equipment to be a successful Ghost Hunter. Here are some of the basic needs to conduct a full investigation and here is some of the equipment we use in the field.

The K-II meter another new tool for Ghost Hunters. Seems to be real popular, "Once for yes and twice for no" A way of communicating with the spirits.

EMF detector, to measure energy. Keep in mind that anything with energy will give off a reading, so do a walkthrough before you use this for ghost hunting. Get your base readings, then if something out of the ordinary comes along, who knows...it may be a ghost.

CCTV surveillance cameras that record in total darkness, up to 330 feet. These are infared cameras.

And my favorite, the EVP recorder. There are many kinds of recorders, but it is said that any IC Sony recorder is the best quality. This one has built-in noise so you don't have to create noise.
