The Gold Canyon Steak House
Dayton, Nevada
November 6, 2006

Located in Historic Old Town, Dayton, Nevada 160 Main Street. It is the oldest continuously operating restaurant and bar since 1867.Once called “The Wild Horse Saloon” The building is original.
The proprietors handed us a photo of what appeared to be a full torso apparition of a gentleman walking out the door. The photo could NOT have been faked because only the upper half of the body is visible ,the lower half is transparent. The body if one could call it that was bathed in white luminescent light and looks as though He is turning his head around as if he has heard his name being called. There are no discernable facial features.
When we used the EVP device, I heard what could be whisperings and voices in the kitchen area which was empty for the night. I heard horses and riders puling up to the hitching post in the rear outside. Of course there was no longer any hitching posts or horses and cars sat silently outside while the owners dined in the front part of the building..
Gold Canyon steakhouse, 11-06-2006 at 9:38 p.m. This is interesting to me. The story goes like this. There is a ghost who loves to move this lantern. If you look closely it looks like someone is holding it back. The only problem is that no one was there when I took the photo.
