Jeff
Belanger: Author, Lecturer, and Explorer of the Unexplained
History, ghosts,
folklore, and magic -- the concepts are a part of our collective
consciousness, and though no one can explain exactly how it all
works, few can match Jeff Belanger's ability to bring the unexplained
out of the fringe and into living rooms and near our office water
coolers. |
We will have a
speaker who will talk about Virginia City's history, TBA,
and I will be adding another speaker.
Live Investigations:
We
will be investigating 4 spots. 2 one night and 2 the other. We will
split up into groups so it will be less people at each location.

Piper's
Opera House
It is said to be one of the most haunted places in town. Ghost
investigators get great EVP here. Piper's opened in 1867 and
has a lot of history. It is still a place where they hold a
lot of events.

St.
Mary's Art Center
It was built in 1876 by the Sisters of Charity and
bishop Patrick Monogue. There is a ton of stuff on this wonderful
building, and I don't want to spoil anything. Besides I may
be adding something to this.

THE
OLD WASHOE CLUB opened in 1870. Three ghosts haunt
this place; a blonde apparition, the lady in blue, a scared
little girl and a prospector. I don't care what anyone says
about Virginia City's haunting, I think this is one of the most
haunted. If you want more you will have to come on over.
